Mage of Light

Game Overview

What if your depression and anxiety were literal monsters you could battle and slay?  

Built in the 3D Unity engine, Mage of Light is a narrative video game experience currently in development at Chapman University. The project helps its players address mental health, depression, and anxiety through the lens of an action/adventure video game. By overcoming the demons in their minds, the player grows in strength and learns that they have the power to conquer real-life monsters with the power and light within themselves.

Installation Instructions

Windows

1. Download zip file.
2. Extract to a new folder + open
3. Double click “Mage of Light.exe” to run

Mac 

1. Download the zip file.
2. Extract to a new folder using the default Archive Utility tool + open
3. Double click “Mage of Light.app” to run

• PLEASE NOTE: Unzipping with a 3rd party unzip program can result in an “The application ‘Mage of Light.app’ can’t be opened” error. To fix, please unzip using the default Archive Utility tool.
